Leilani Wildman is a member of the Nakoda Nation, located in Mini Thni, Alberta Canada. She spent most of her life in her community until she moved to California.
Leilani spent 14 years in California, the birthplace of music, fashion, design, and trends. During her time there, She experienced a completely different culture, lifestyle, and fashion. In 2017 during one of Leilani's visits to her home community in Mini Thni, her husband requested her to bring a souvenir t-shirt from her tribe. Despite searching at local stores, she couldn't find any. This experience became one of her inspirations for starting her own clothing brand
Living two completely different worlds, Leilani wanted to merge the California streetwear style with Indigenous art to create a unique brand. To better understand the clothing business and the aspects of accounting and design, she attended college in San Diego, California, and graduated with a triple major in three different fields receiving degrees in Business with an emphasis on Management, An Accounting, and Graphic Design. With the tools obtained in the academic setting, she created a clothing brand.
Leilani's overall goal is to establish a clothing brand that is recognized for its originality, language, inspiration, and design, and to collaborate with other indigenous artists and clothing designers in the future.
